It appears interest rates are slowly climbing upward...very slowly.
There is a lot of talk on rates are going to increase. Well, for the time being, interest rates are still attractive.
Here is the approximate rate as of 12:32 this afternoon--rates can and do fluctuate many times a day.
30 year fixed, residential:
5.250% with 1.625 pts.
5.625% with .125 pts.
Beautiful rates when you consider the 19% rates of the late 80's.
Inventory choice is very good.
The banks are still lending and there with programs available that have low/little/zero down, if you qualify.
